We feel very strongly that compliance to an ethical policy is important to us and to our customers. You can download our pdf document if you would like to know about our specific products and textiles, but, if you don’t have time to read it, know this: We believe ourselves to be thoughtful and caring of the environment and of the people in our team who are working hard on your behalf to ensure that your product is as ethically sourced and supplied as possible. Given that we are dealing with man-made fibers and inks this has been something of a challenge. We are proud to say that we have gone out of our way to help our team understand how important this is to us. We are also members of Sedex, supporting an ethical supply chain. Our printing methods are compliant in all areas and we ensure safe and proper disposal of all waste through a well-sourced supplier in Veolia. We deliver using DPD because they not only give us a great and trackable service but they also share our environmental concerns and ethos and help us work to reduce our carbon footprint. Your product is manufactured by us here in the UK which of course supports British workers in an ethical work environment – our own ethos is to employ previously unemployed people and train them ourselves. We are a Living Wage employer.

For when you need the products now but have to pay later…

Turnaround is measured in Working Days, defined as days on which the clearing banks in the City of London are open for normal business. For orders made on a Guaranteed Turnaround service (being orders guaranteed to be ready within a certain period (the “Guaranteed Period”)), delivery (as more particularly described in paragraph 9(b) below) will be made no later than 10pm on the last Working Day of the Guaranteed Period. Should The Print Company (North West) Ltd fail to deliver within the Guaranteed Period (see also paragraph Variations in quantity), a service “credit” may be awarded up to the value of the order in question (redeemable against future orders within 6 months of issue of the Credit in question) (the “Credit”). The customer will still be obliged to pay in full for the order in respect of which delivery was late, including any of the sums charged specifically for the provision of the Guaranteed Turnaround Service (“the Premium Charges”). Where the late delivery is as the result of the action or inaction of a third party, such as a carrier, The Print Company (North West) Ltd, at their absolute discretion, may elect to extend the Turnaround by one Working Day and the customer shall not be awarded a Credit during this time. In addition:

Where The Print Company (North West) Ltd is obliged to deliver the work to the customer but the customer provides The Print Company (North West) Ltd with incomplete or incorrect delivery information or is not available to accept delivery, then provided that The Print Company (North West) Â Ltd has used reasonable endeavours to deliver the work to the customer, a failed delivery shall be classed as a Customer Delay.
  • Should expedited delivery be agreed The Print Company (North West) Ltd shall be entitled to make additional charges on a time and materials basis to cover any overtime or any other additional costs involved, including without limitation, the cost of couriers or special delivery
    post.

    storage.
  • Risk of loss of or damage to work completed by The Print Company (North West) Ltd shall pass to the customer on delivery. Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk in the work to the customer, ownership of and title to the work shall not pass to the customer and shall be retained by The Print Company (North West) Ltd until The Print Company (North West) Ltd has received payment in full in respect of the work.
  • In the unlikely event that The Print Company (North West) Ltd deems it necessary to re-print work, the Guaranteed Period shall recommence from the time of The Print Company (North West) Ltd confirmation to the customer of its agreement to reprint the work.
